THERE IS NO ATTEMPT MADE TO DESCRIBE THE CREATIVE PROCESS REALISTICALLY

THE ACCOUNT IS SYMBOLIC AND SHOWS GOD CREATING THE WORLD BY MEANS OF LANGUAGE

AS THOUGH WRITING A BOOK BUT LANGUAGE ENTIRELY TRANSFORMED

THE MESSAGE OF CREATION IS CLEAR EACH LETTER OF

THE

ALPHABET

IS

GIVEN

A

NUMERICAL

VALUE BY COMBINING THE LETTERS WITH THE SACRED NUMBERS

REARRANGING THEM IN ENDLESS CONFIGURATIONS

THE MYSTIC WEANED THE MIND AWAY FROM THE NORMAL CONNOTATIONS OF WORDS

THE LIGHT IS RISING NOW RISING IS THE LIGHT

Wenennefer (also Wennefer, Wennufer or Unnefer) was an ancient Egyptian High Priest of Osiris at Abydos, during the reign of pharaoh Ramesses II of the 19th Dynasty.

Biography
His name "Wenennefer" ("the one who continues to be perfect"), is one of the epithets of Osiris, which alludes to this god's post-mortem power.[2]

Wenennufer was a son of the High Priest of Osiris Mery and the Chantress of Osiris Maianuy. He was married to Tiy also called Nefertari, the daughter of the Overseer of the Granary Qeni and his wife Wiay. Wennufer and Tiy had at least two sons, Hori and Yuyu. Wennufer's mother Maianuy was the daughter of the High Priest of Osiris To (sometimes called Tjay) and his wife Buia.[3]

Following a practice typical of the New Kingdom, Wenennefer inherited from his father the office of High Priest of Osiris, and after thirty-five years of priesthood he left it to his son Hori, who in turn lwas succeeded by Yuyu.[4]

Biography[edit]

Wenennefer in hieroglyphs

Monuments[edit]

Double statue of Wenennefer and his father Mery[edit]

The statue (Cairo JdE 35257) depict both Wenennefer and his father Mery. Wenennefer is said to be the son of Mery and Maianuy. Maianuy herself is identified as the daughter of the High Priest of Osiris To and his wife Buia.[5] Wenennufer's Wife Tiy was the chief of the Harim of Osiris. She was the daughter of the Overseer of the Granaries Qeni and his wife Wiay.[6]

The dorsal surface of the statue gives more information about the extended family of Mery and Wenennefer. Mery is said to be the son of the Dignitary and High Priest of Osiris Hat and his wife Iuy. The parents of Maianuy and Tiy are given again in the inscriptions.[6] The scenes include further relatives. Several are listed as "his son": the Stablemaster Ramose, Prophet of Isis Yuyu, Second Prophet of Osiris Siese, Prophet of Horus Hor, and the Priest and Lector of Osiris Mery. There is also a row of women listed as "his daughter": Sheritre, Wiay, Istnofret, Mutnofret, and Buia.[7]

Family Monument from Abydos[edit]

This limestone block comes from Abydos, but is now in the Cairo Museum (JdE 35258). One side shows Wenennufer flanked by two jackals. In the text he his accompanied by two men said to be "his brothers" the vizier Prehotep I and the Vizier Nebamun.[8] It is not clear how these men are related because they are not real brothers.[9] Another side shows Wenennefer with his wife Tiy and mother Maianuy in the presence of a barque.[8] The third side shows Wenennufer and his son the Second Prophet of Osiris Siese.[10] The fourth and final side shows Mery holding two standards. Mery is said to be the son of the Dignitary, God's Father and Sealbearer of Osiris Hat and his wife Iuy. The name of Ramesses II appears throughout the scenes.[11]

Standing Statue with standards and Hathor emblems[edit]

This statue or architectural element comes from the funerary chapel of Wenennefer in Abydos and is now in the Athens Museum (Inv 106). Wenennefer holds two standards, where one is inscribed for Hathor, Lady of Medjet and Isis, Lady of Medjet, and the other Osiris and Anubis. Wenennefer also holds a Hathor emblem in front of him. The text on this monument provides more family information. Behind his right arm is a text about "his brother" the Vizier Nebamun, who is said to be the son of the dignitary and Sem Priest Ramose and his wife Sheritre. Behind his other arm is a text about "his brother" Prehotep I. Prehotep is said to be the son of the High Priest of Osiris To and born of Maianuy.[12]

QUESTION Has a circle always had 360 degrees?
THE short answer is yes. The ancient Egyptians were the first to divide a circle into 360 degrees, but they inherited their numerical system from Mesopotamia.
Mesopotamia was the area along the Tigris and Euphrates rivers that makes up a sizeable portion of modern-day Iraq. Regarded as the cradle of civilisation, it
was where farming, written languages and mathematics began.
The best known ancient civilisation from Mesopotamia is the Babylonians, and their first use of mathematics dates from between the fifth and third millennium BC.
The Babylonian system of mathematics is built on a base of 60 (we use a base of ten). From this we get 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour.
If we didn't have this base of 60, the design of clock faces would be very different. With a circular clock face of 360 degrees, each minute division equals 6 degrees exactly.
The Babylonians had a Iove of the number 60, perla.aps because it can, be divided in so many ways (by one, two, three, four, five, six, ten 12, 15, 20 and 30) and still leave a whole number.

They passed this love of the number 60 to'the Ancient Egyptians, who found it worked for dividing a circle.
And 360 is also useful when it comes to dvision. Divide a circle into six and you get six equilateral, triangles, each with three internal angles of 60 degrees. A right angle, important for building pyramids and temples, is a quarter of a circle and is a convenient 90 degrees. The first calendars, also created by the Egyptians, had 360 days in a year, though this became problematic because it didnt match the Earth's orbit.

Bob Cubitt, Northampton.

A Midsummer Night's Dream
Act V, Scene 1

Athens. The palace of THESEUS.
[Enter THESEUS, HIPPOLYTA, PHILOSTRATE, Lords and] [p]Attendants]
Hippolyta. 'Tis strange my Theseus, that these 1830
lovers speak of.
Theseus. More strange than true: I never may believe
These antique fables, nor these fairy toys.
Lovers and madmen have such seething brains,
Such shaping fantasies, that apprehend 1835
More than cool reason ever comprehends.
The lunatic, the lover and the poet
Are of imagination all compact:
One sees more devils than vast hell can hold,
That is, the madman: the lover, all as frantic, 1840
Sees Helen's beauty in a brow of Egypt:
The poet's eye, in fine frenzy rolling,
Doth glance from heaven to earth, from earth to heaven;
And as imagination bodies forth
The forms of things unknown, the poet's pen 1845
Turns them to shapes and gives to airy nothing
A local habitation and a name.
Such tricks hath strong imagination,
That if it would but apprehend some joy,
It comprehends some bringer of that joy; 1850
Or in the night, imagining some fear,
How easy is a bush supposed a bear!
Hippolyta. But all the story of the night told over,
And all their minds transfigured so together,
More witnesseth than fancy's images 1855
And grows to something of great constancy;
But, howsoever, strange and admirable.

The Greek Myth of the Wanderings of Io, the Woman Transformed to a Cow

Io is Guarded by Hundred-Eyed Argus the Herdsman

Hera, in turn, placed the cow in the custody of a herdsman called Argus, who was possessed of one hundred eyes in his head.

Each day, Argus would drive poor Io to pasture, his at least some of his many eyes always upon her as she grazed, while at night the girl was tethered by the neck to an olive tree in the grove of the Heraion.

One day, by chance, Argus brought Io to the meadow by her father's riverbank. Taking the opportunity, Io rushed up to her father and sisters and succeeded in getting their attention by her beauty and friendly demeanour. Soon her family were around her, petting her admiringly, not knowing, of course, that this was their beloved Io. Then the heifer began scratching with her hoof in the dust of the riverbank. The scratches became recognisable as letters and the astonished Inachus was able to read the story of what had happened to his daughter and realise that she stood before him, transformed to a beast of the field.

As Inachus embraced Io and lamented her fate bitterly, the remorseless Argus came stamping up and drove the heifer away from her family to another pasture.

THE FULCANELLI PHENOMENON

Kenneth Rayner Johnson 1980

Page 263

"It will be as well to recall here what Fulcanelli's reply was when Bergier asked him what the real nature of alchemy consisted in. He said:

'The secret of alchemy is that there exists a means of manipulating matter and energy so as to create what modern science calls a force-field' This force field acts upon the observer and puts him in a privileged position in relation to the universe. From this privileged position he has access to realities that space and time matter and energy, normally conceal from us. This is what we call the Great Work.' "

Unsolved UFO sightings... strange secrets of the moon... new evidence that alien astronauts are exploring the earth

" The words of J. B. S. Haldane came back to haunt me. He once wrote, "Now my suspicion is that the universe is not only queerer than we suppose, but queerer than we can suppose. I suspect that there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamed of in any philosophy. That is the reason why I have no philosophy myself, and must be my excuse for dreaming."

The binary system consists of a main-sequence star of spectral type A0 or A1, termed Sirius A, and a faint white dwarf companion of spectral type DA2, designated Sirius B. The distance between the two varies between 8.2 and 31.5 astronomical units as they orbit every 50 years.[24]

Sirius - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sirius

Sirius is a binary star and the brightest star in the night sky.

Sirius (/'s?ri?s/, a latinisation of Greek Se?????, Seirios, lit. "glowing" or "scorching") is a binary star and the brightest star in the night sky. With a visual apparent magnitude of -1.46, it is almost twice as bright as Canopus, the next brightest star. The system has the Bayer designation a (Alpha) Canis Majoris.

Sirius appears bright because of its intrinsic luminosity and its proximity to Earth. At a distance of 2.6 parsecs (8.6 ly), as determined by the Hipparcos astrometry satellite,[2][25][26] the Sirius system is one of Earth's near neighbours. Sirius is gradually moving closer to the Solar System, so it will slightly increase in brightness over the next 60,000 years. After that time, its distance will begin to increase, and it will become fainter, but it will continue to be the brightest star in the Earth's night sky for the next 210,000 years.[27]

Sirius A is about twice as massive as the Sun (M?) and has an absolute visual magnitude of +1.42. It is 25 times more luminous than the Sun[12] but has a significantly lower luminosity than other bright stars such as Canopus or Rigel. The system is between 200 and 300 million years old.[12] It was originally composed of two bright bluish stars. The more massive of these, Sirius B, consumed its resources and became a red giant before shedding its outer layers and collapsing into its current state as a white dwarf around 120 million years ago.[12]

Sirius is also known colloquially as the "Dog Star", reflecting its prominence in its constellation, Canis Major (Greater Dog).[18] The heliacal rising of Sirius marked the flooding of the Nile in Ancient Egypt and the "dog days" of summer for the ancient Greeks, while to the Polynesians, mostly in the Southern Hemisphere, the star marked winter and was an important reference for their navigation around the Pacific Ocean.

Observational history[edit]

The brightest star in the night sky, Sirius is recorded in some of the earliest astronomical records. Its displacement from the ecliptic causes this heliacal rising to be remarkably regular compared to other stars, with a period of almost exactly 365.25 days holding it constant relative to the solar year. This occurs at Cairo on 19 July (Julian), placing it just prior to the summer solstice and the onset of the annual flooding of the Nile during antiquity.[28]

Owing to the flood's own irregularity, the extreme precision of the star's return made it important to the ancient Egyptians,[28] who worshipped it as the goddess Sopdet (Ancient Egyptian: Spdt, "Triangle";[a] Greek: S????, So^this), guarantor of the fertility of their land.[b] The Egyptian civil calendar was apparently initiated to have its New Year "Mesori" coincide with the appearance of Sirius, although its lack of leap years meant that this congruence only held for four years until its date began to wander backwards through the months. The Egyptians continued to note the times of Sirius's annual return, which may have led them to the discovery of the 1460-year Sothic cycle and influenced the development of the Julian and Alexandrian calendars.

The ancient Greeks observed that the appearance of Sirius heralded the hot and dry summer and feared that it caused plants to wilt, men to weaken, and women to become aroused.[30] Due to its brightness, Sirius would have been noted to twinkle more in the unsettled weather conditions of early summer. To Greek observers, this signified certain emanations which caused its malignant influence. Anyone suffering its effects was said to be "star-struck" (?st??ß???t??, astrobóletos). It was described as "burning" or "flaming" in literature.[31] The season following the star's reappearance came to be known as the "dog days".[32] The inhabitants of the island of Ceos in the Aegean Sea would offer sacrifices to Sirius and Zeus to bring cooling breezes, and would await the reappearance of the star in summer. If it rose clear, it would portend good fortune; if it was misty or faint then it foretold (or emanated) pestilence. Coins retrieved from the island from the 3rd century BC feature dogs or stars with emanating rays, highlighting Sirius's importance.[31] The Romans celebrated the heliacal setting of Sirius around April 25, sacrificing a dog, along with incense, wine, and a sheep, to the goddess Robigo so that the star's emanations would not cause wheat rust on wheat crops that year.[33]

Ptolemy of Alexandria mapped the stars in Books VII and VIII of his Almagest, in which he used Sirius as the location for the globe's central meridian. He depicted it as one of six red-coloured stars (see the Colour controversy section below). The other five are class M and K stars, such as Arcturus and Betelgeuse.[34]

Bright stars were important to the ancient Polynesians for navigation between the many islands and atolls of the Pacific Ocean. Low on the horizon, they acted as stellar compasses. They also served as latitude markers; the declination of Sirius matches the latitude of the archipelago of Fiji at 17°S and thus passes directly over the islands each night.[35] Sirius served as the body of a "Great Bird" constellation called Manu, with Canopus as the southern wingtip and Procyon the northern wingtip, which divided the Polynesian night sky into two hemispheres.[36] Just as the appearance of Sirius in the morning sky marked summer in Greece, it marked the onset of winter for the Maori, whose name Takurua described both the star and the season. Its culmination at the winter solstice was marked by celebration in Hawaii, where it was known as Ka'ulua, "Queen of Heaven". Many other Polynesian names have been recorded, including Tau-ua in the Marquesas Islands, Rehua in New Zealand, and Ta'urua-fau-papa "Festivity of original high chiefs" and Ta'urua-e-hiti-i-te-tara-te-feiai "Festivity who rises with prayers and religious ceremonies" in Tahiti.[37] The Hawaiian people had many names for Sirius, including Aa ("glowing"),[38] Hoku-kauopae,[39] Kau-ano-meha (also Kaulanomeha), "Standing-alone-and-sacred",[39][40] Hiki-kauelia or Hiki-kauilia (the navigational name), Hiki-kau-lono-meha ("star of solitary Lono", the astrological name),[41] Kaulua (also Kaulua-ihai-mohai, "flower of the heavens"),[42] Hiki-kauelia, Hoku-hoo-kele-waa ("star which causes the canoe to sail", a marine navigation name),[43] and Kaulua-lena ("yellow star").[42] The people of the Society Islands called Sirius variously Taurua-fau-papa, Taurua-nui-te-amo-aha, and Taurua-e-hiti-i-tara-te-feiai. Other names for Sirius included Palolo-mua (Futuna), Mere (Mangaia), Apura (Manihiki), Taku-ua (Marquesas Islands), and Tokiva (Pukapuka).[39] In the cosmology of the Tuamotus, Sirius had various names, including Takurua-te-upuupu,[39] Te Kaha ("coconut fibre"),[44] Te Upuupu,[45] Taranga,[46] and Vero-ma-torutoru ("flaming and diminishing").[47]

The indigenous Boorong people of northwestern Victoria named Sirius as Warepil.[48]

Busiris (mythology)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For other uses, see Busiris.

In Greek mythology, Busiris (Ancient Greek: ???s????) was the name shared by two figures:
Busiris, an Egyptian prince as one of the Sons of Aegyptus. He suffered the same fate as his other brothers, save Lynceus, when they were slain on their wedding night by their wives who obeyed the command of their father Danaus. Busiris was the son of Aegyptus by Argyphia, a woman of royal blood and thus full brother of Lynceus, Proteus, Enceladus, Lycus and Daiphron. He married the Danaid Automate.[1][2]
Busiris, a king of Egypt, who used to sacrifice strangers and was killed by Heracles.[3]

Busiris (Lower Egypt)

In antiquity, Busiris was the chief town of the Ati nome in Egypt. It stood east of Sais, near the Phatnitic mouth on the western bank of the Damietta Branch of the Nile. The city's pharaonic name was Djedu.[2]

The town and nome of Busiris were allotted to the Hermotybian division of the Egyptian militia. It was regarded as one of the birthplaces of the god of the underworld Osiris, as perhaps, etymologically, the name itself implies. The festival of Isis at Busiris came next in splendor and importance to that of Artemis at Bubastis in the Egyptian calendar. Considerable ruins are still extant.

The temple of Isis, indeed, with the hamlet which sprang up around it, stood probably at a short distance without the walls of Busiris itself, for Pliny (v. 10. s. 11) mentions Isidis oppidum in the neighbourhood of the town. The ruins of the temple are still visible, a little to the north of Abusir, at the hamlet of Bahheyt. (Pococke, Travels, vol. i. p. 34; Minutoli, p. 304.)

BUSIRIS, in a Greek legend preserved in a fragment of Pherecydes, an Egyptian king, son of Poseidon and Lyssianassa. After Egypt has been afflicted for nine years with famine, Phrasius, a seer of Cyprus, arrived in Egypt and announced that the cessation of the famine would not take place until a foreigner was yearly sacrificed to Zeus or Jupiter. Busiris commenced by sacrificing the prophet, and continued the custom by offering a foreigner on the altar of the god. It is here that Busiris enters into the circle of the myths and parerga of Heracles, who had arrived in Egypt from Libya, and was seized and bound ready to be killed and offered at the altar of Zeus in Memphis. Heracles burst the bonds which bound him, and, seizing his club, slew Busiris with his son Amphidamas and his herald Chalbes. This exploit is often represented on vase paintings from the 6th century b.c. and onwards, the Egyptian monarch and his companions being represented as negroes, and the legend is referred to by Herodotus and later writers. Although some of the Greek writers made Busiris an Egyptian king and a successor of Menes, about the sixtieth of the series, and the builder of Thebes, those better informed by the Egyptians rejected him altogether. Various esoterical explanations were given of the myth, and the name not found as a king was recognized as that of the tomb of Osiris. Busiris is here probably an earlier and less accurate Graecism than Osiris for the name of the Egyptian god Usiri, like Bubastis, Buto, for the goddesses Ubasti and Uto. Busiris, Bubastis, Buto, more strictly represent Pusiri, Pubasti, Puto, cities sacred to these divinities. All three were situated in the Delta, and would be amongst the first known to the Greeks. All shrines of Osiris were called P-usiri, but the principal city of the name was in the centre of the Delta, capital of the 9th (Busirite) nome of Lower Egypt; another one near Memphis (now Abusir) may have helped the formation of the legend in that quarter. The name Busiris in this legend may have been caught up merely at random by the early Greeks, or they may have vaguely connected their legend with the Egyptian myth of the slaying of Osiris (as king of Egypt) by his mighty brother Seth, who was in certain aspects a patron of foreigners. Phrasius, Chalbes and Epaphus (for the grandfather of Busiris) are all explicable as Graecized Egyptian names, but other names in the legend are purely Greek. The sacrifice of foreign prisoners before a god, a regular scene on temple walls, is perhaps only symbolical, at any rate for the later days of Egyptian history, but foreign intruders must often have suffered rude treatment at the hands of the Egyptians, in spite of the generally mild character of the latter.

See H. v. Gartringen, in Pauly-Wissowa, Realencyclopadie, for the evidence from the side of classical archaeology.

Live to see the future, See the future to live

Live 12+9+22+5=48 = 12 = 3
To 20+15=35 = 8
See 19+5+5=29 = 11 = 2
The 20+8+5=33 = 6
Future 6+21+20+21+18+5=91 = 10 = 1

48+35+29+33+91=236 = 11 = 2

236+236=472=13=4

Live to see the future is a couple but also See the future to Live is a square, the base of a fractal pyramid, the dawn of a new society.

Collective consciousness is like this Red Rose, we are its petals that open, together, to the Light.

We don't feel and see well because not all the petals have yet opened up to the Light, but when the bud, the hard core of Pan opens, the miracle of Beauty will take place.

Do you see the Rose bloom?

Do you see your future?

Re - The Sun God - OsirisNet
https://www.osirisnet.net/dieux/re/e_re.htm

The great creator god of Heliopolis (whoose name can be spelled Re or Ra, see why HERE) represented "the sun god" in the broad sense of the term, personalising just as much the star as a physical entity, or as the divine strength which is in him. Re is respected and adored in all Egypt and numerous divinities would not have their solar legitimacy were it not for the revitalising functions of Re, and thus Amon-Re, Khnum-Re…

THE REPRESENTATIONS OF RE

The lioness and the bull are used to show power, danger and fertility bound to the star. Besides, the Mnevis bull, the sacred animal of Re of Heliopolis.
The Horus falcon (the great one or the ancient one), whose name signifies the distant ideally represents the sun at its apogee.
Aton represents the disk as physical entity. He can serve to represent the moon also. He is without doubt
The journey of Re in his bark
the solar god whom Amenophis IV will call when he wishes to counterbalance the theological influence of the clergy of Amon, and for other reasons (see the special article).
The different phases of the existence of the sun have well imagined by the Egyptians.
All travel being made via the Nile, Re was imagined by describing his journey as travelling in a barque on a celestial Nile.

a) In the morning :

With its birth, the sun (as with the deceased) when one sees it leaving of the mountains of the east) is described like a "young veal at the mouth of milk". Khepri, represented as a scarab, expresses this idea of birth. The beetle pushes before him a ball of clay satisfying his hunger and in which it will lay his eggs. On hatching, the small scarabs seem to emerge from this ball, which the Egyptians immediately associated with the idea of rebirth.

b) At noon :
Re at noon.
Tomb of Nefertari
The majestic star in all its power is represented by the falcon in the form of Re-Horakhty whose representation combines the falcon, the solar disk and the Uraeus. It is also Khamutef ("his mother's bull") possessor of all her hereditary vigour.

c) In the evening :

It is Atum. The creative creator of Heliopolis, whose functions Re exploits, can hardly seem in his position in the image of the ageing star (he is even represented in older times as an old man leaning on a cane). The Egyptians who reasoned in term of eternally renewed cycle, wanted to start it with rebirth while placing at the end of the previous cycle a potentially young and vigorous god.

d) Nocturnal future of the sun :

This aspect has essentially been developed during the New Empire. The Egyptians thought that the land was flat and that the sun disappeared on the horizon each evening. Re then changed his means of transportation and boarded the barque of the night which travelled on the underground Nile.
While the world above was in obscurity, the god browsed the twelve hours of night in the underground world (the duat), giving benefit to its inhabitants by his light and his heat. Those here fell again in lethargy when the star left them.
In this journey, Re is often represented as a character with the head of a ram (Iuf), representing the fusion of the ba of Re and the one of Osiris the god of the dead. This fusion is theologically very important since it can make of Re a funerary god and make Osiris absorb the solar functions. One thus finds in the tomb of Nefertari the formulae: "Osiris resides in Re and Re resides in Osiris". It is also said that Osiris is "yesterday" and Re is "tomorrow".
The nocturnal journey was perilous, the forces of chaos embodied by Apophis trying without relaxation to reverse the barque. The sunrise in the morning translated the triumph of the organising forces over the chaos, the victory of Ma'at. Therefore, for the Egyptians, every day is like a new creation of the world which is not returned to the chaos of its origin.
The modern science noted this permanent tendency of organised towards the unorganised and christened this phenomenon 'entropy'… Only the name changes, but nothing more is understood about the essence of the process.

RE AND ROYALTY

The Old Kingdom is the period full of political glory for Re, his influence even remains immense during all the long length of the Pharaonic history.
The first king to incorporate the name of Re is Neb-j-re ("Re is my Lord"), of the second Dynasty. In the region of Heliopolis-Memphis, in the 5th Dynasty, the opening of solar temples increase. They are centred around a shape of the obelisk representing the primordial hillock: the Benben.
The pyramids represent the most monumental symbol of the solar power.
When one imagines that originally they were covered with Turah limestone as white as snow, visible from scores of kilometres. The rays of the sun petrified, the pyramids are the most spectacular representation of the glory of the kings of Egypt of which the post-mortem destiny at this time was to go up to the sky with their mediator to become a star and to become one with the sun.
From Djedefre (the successor of Kheops, 4th Dynasty), the kings of Egypt take the name of "son of Re" which will be included in the royal titulature until the end of Pharaonic history.
From the 6th Dynasty, Re acquired the stature of true creator god and the other creator gods are syncretically associated with him.

1234-95 ATUM-RE 1234-95

After having become conscious of his being in the undifferentiated chaos of the origins (the Nun), the creator god Atum created the world while starting with light and heat which in the second place will be materialised by the solar disk. Re is thus inseparable from Atum, representing the dynamics of the creation of the world.
Being alone, Atum can only draw from himself, by masturbation or spit, the first sexual couple represented by Shu and Tefnut. Both are the vectors of the material expression of the sun.

Shu represents light and vital breath. It is Shu who constitutes the space between the sky and the land in which the luminous vibration appears, genuine "ether" transporting the solar rays. We can see it depicting itself while looking at the luminous space which one sees when sunbeams filter through clouds (as here).

Tefnut represents the vector of heat (and not of humidity as he had been proposed initially) and also the celestial orbit of the star. Shu is named "Life" and thus the hieroglyphic Ankh sign is the god's symbol.
Tefnut, transporting the dangerous part (the heat) of the star associated with power or represented by the Was sign. She is identified with Ma'at since she is the cosmic order.
Thus, Shu and Tefnut are inseparable, and even between themselves and the sun, which is sometimes represented showing them in the form of two lions between which is either the sun, or an Akhet sign (which represents the sunrise between two hills). The two pylons of the temples have the same significance.

The eye of Re
Pached TT3
It gives rise to numerous interpretations which sometimes seem contradictory to us. Thus, the daughter of the sun is going to personify his eye also. To reign on creation and to dispense light and heat, Re is replaced: it is his eye (which represents him in totality) which provides this function. After numerous adventures, told differently in the "Book of the Celestial Cow" or in the myths concerning the lion-like goddess, the eye ends up returning to his father Re who will restore it in his forehead in the form of the Uraeus.
The solar eye equates to the lunar eye of the young Horus: one will be returned, and the other taken care of by Thot. The two eyes end up merging to form the Udjat.
